چکیده
In this paper, we emphasized the dual application of Cu-modified vertically aligned TiO2 nanotube arrays as photocatalyst and a relative humidity sensor. The were obtained by anodization titanium layer prepared using radio frequency magnetron sputtering (RFMS) modified with different copper concentrations (0.5, 1, 1.5, 2 M) wet-impregnation method. sample M Cu(NO3)2 solution showed highest efficiency for NH3 photocatalytic degradation most pronounced response in comparison to other studied samples. order investigate structure impact Cu modification, X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), energy-dispersive spectroscopy (EDS) used. activity kinetic study ammonia oxidation mini-photocatalytic wind tunnel reactor (MWPT), while sensing was examined impedance (IS). Higher direct consequence increased generation •OH radicals more efficient photogenerated charge separation, which is correlated increase DC conductivity.

متن کاملSelf-Organized TiO2–MnO2 Nanotube Arrays for Efficient Photocatalytic Degradation of Toluene
Vertically oriented, self-organized TiO2–MnO2 nanotube arrays were successfully obtained by one-step anodic oxidation of Ti–Mn alloys in an ethylene glycol-based electrolyte. The as-prepared samples were characterized by scanning electron microscopy (SEM), energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (EDX), UV-Vis absorption, photoluminescence spectroscopy, X-ray diffraction (XRD), and micro-Raman spec...
متن کاملStructural manipulation of the photocatalytic activity of TiO2 nanotube arrays
Highly ordered TiO2 nanotube arrays on Ti substrates were prepared by an electrochemical anodization process in a mixture of glycerol and water containing 0.5 wt% NH4F and then thermally annealed from 400 C to 600 C. The sample structures were characterized by scanning electron microscopy and X-ray diffraction measurements, where the nanotube pore diameter and length were found to increase with...
